There is a place up in Springfield OR that will sell you a custom bumper as a kit. You weld it together and paint it and save hundreds. They sell finished ones as well and the prices are about the best I have seen. Beast Bumpers
"1987-1991 BRONCO ONLY"
I was always a little disappointed in the choice for bumpers for my '90. Jeffs Bronco Graveyard is the only place I found decent ones...
I am currently biulding bumpers for mine at work. Idid a small side job for them to get the 1/4x8x8 inch tube steel. I have done all of the angle work on the ends of the front one and as soon as I can get the truck in my bay I will fit it to the front horns of the frame. I ordered the piece of tube for a reciever and will be putting it through the front one so I can hook to it. I also put one of those marine plug kits in it for my block heater. The rear one will get the set cut out in the center and I will make the ends with weather tite doors to act as tool storage. I just couldn't see paying the money for one that was already made when I could build what I wanted front and rear for less than $100 lol.
We have the Ranch hand front bumper replacement on most of our trucks around here. They are not on the website anymore but a simple phone call gets you one. Here is a pic of the one for 97-03.
That is cool! Mine will be nothing that fancy lol. But then again some of my hunting trips would take a toll on a bumper like that lol. I don't drink and hunt at the same time but we do get pretty messed up after dark and I seem to find trees getting back to our trailer. By the way it is all on private land, no drinking and driving on public roads. Two years ago I missed the driveway and did a number on my pass fender and door. That almost made me cry lol.
i have one on my 88.
it came off an old dodge pickup in the junkyard i got for $5, and cut to fit in the bumper/plow frame.
it is welded to the frame/bumper so everything can be removed if needed.
the bumper is made of 10 inch channel steel.
