I didn't know that was bad luck. That's the story of my life, nothing easy. I was trying to buy local and get a fair deal. Now i'm starting to look at the bigger cities about an hour away. There are a couple smaller towns close i'm going to look at today, if i see something i'll go monday after work.
in all honestly, dont be afraid to look semi-far away. one of my teachers in school just bought a brand spankin new, fully loaded lexus(i think). they wanted 50k+ at a dealership here locally. she ended up traveling 4 hours away to get the car and saved almost 10k on the price. so i know your not going for a new cr, but you could find the perfect truck for the perfect price if you look a little farther away.
What a bummer i spent my saturday prime hours on a dealership that in the end tried to screw me over. Did they make a mistake, sure maybe. Did they do that on purpose, sure probably. I think i can say for sure i'm not going four hours away. Wow thats would be far. I really belive the problem i'm having is that the cash for clunkers took alot of cars and trucks in my price range. Or it just took alot of used vehicles off the market so there is a shortage of good vehicles. I'll have to see what the Quad cities has to offer.
It's all over we bought one today. Or should a say my wife made a deal on a 2005 ford freestyle while i was at work. I did okay it on my lunch break and we are both happy with our new, used ride. I want to thank everyone who offered advice and words of wisdom during this turbulant search. It looks and runs very nice, i'm not sure about the cvt trans because it feels different but work perfect. Now the next vehicle is my turn and she'll be done with school and working so guess what i'm already planning on? See you guys later, Walls

Thanks 93 mix 'm match, i hope to have a truck soon as possible. My 93 ranger looks good on the outside but underneath rusty rusty rusty. It needs ball joints u-joints and a little bit of tlc. I may have to spring for a payment but i'll save my money and have a good down payment when it's time. I'll be down in the freesyle lists if you want to say hi. Later, Walls
