I like the early Broncos started looking for one the prices seam high. I found a few one for $800 no doors hood all glass in shell was broke and engine was water logged (no hood). Next best thing was $2500 very nice but no engine or trany. $3500 for any thing I could drive home. Is this right or are these to high?
The prices are all over the place. Its really depends on many factors. A guy has one listed in Orange, Ca for $62K. He'll never get it. I have also seen some listed at $30K. You can find a really nice restored one anywhere from $8K to $15K.
Believe me, $3500 and you can drive it home is a fair price, as long as the rust isn't too bad. Right now you can buy a really nice Bronco for far less than it costs to restore one. I've built and sold four in the four years and only made money on one. And that was because I got it for a ridiculously low price. I have over $12K in my frame off build and still have to finish the remaining body work and paint. And I do all my own work so no labor charges.
Seems to me the prices posted in the original post were low.
I paid $2500.00 for a frame and body once. I'm now selling a project for $2500.00 complete but, disassembled. In NM, we don't see Broncos < $2500.00 in ANY condition. If you do, jump on it.
I paid 4500 down here in Louisiana for a 77 that had the original motor still running never rebuilt with the stock C4 automatic transmission in decent shape with just surface rust and needs a new hood.

I have a '69 wagon for sale for $1800.oo. Runs, drives and plows snow well but, really rusty. These things are like seeing an Albino Buffalo up here!
as far as prices go I think that those were to high
The cheapest I've picked up a running, moving 66-77 Bronco was for $250, the most was $800.
For the big Broncos cheapest I paid $400, most I paid $3500
