Helwig 550 Helpers??
yeah i have been running overload like the hellwigs for over 10 yrs with no problems. i have 3 inch factory springs and i installed these overloads that add 2500 lbs more i have 77 f250. with combined gvw of 6800. i also installed 1 ton front springs and cut 2 coils off to make it more than a 3/4 ton but not quite 1 ton. these overloads are adjustable and i have them set at the lightest setting, if you set it up for heavy loads when it is enpty you will have a verry hard suspension setup in the rear.
