fuel lines

the 2 main fuel lines running from the pump the selector switch. there is one line that is bigger then the other, i need to know and its my guess that the bigger line is the feeding line while the smaller line is ther return line??? is this correct

im disconnecting my 2 selector switches(im guessing that not wut stock truck have, i thought they have 1?) i have just found and have all 3 tanks out. right now im going to run 1 tank (the 3rd none stock tank) on my chassy cab and i need to know witch is the feeding line(i belive the fat line) and the return line(smaller line) so i dont make it backwords

IIRC both lines are 5/16" but the suction (feed) line has 3/8" ends where it hooks to the tanks and selector valve.

Not on mine the feed line is 3/8 and the return is 5/16. If you are not going to be running two tanks you dont even need a selector valve plumbed in.

Gotha I would cut a piece of fuel line and clamp abolt in it to keep the ports you are not using clean.
