Got spark, fuel... Won't start
I'm starting to lean more toward a timing chain issue now... I don't look forward to cracking her apart to check, and if necessary, fix, though. A tooth or two would put her far enough out not to run...
Now, if I put a timing light on #1, I should be able to tell she's out, right? Without opening her up? I mean, that would be a solid clue that that is the problem, right?

Been very busy this last week checking everything under the sun. I checked every related sensor, checked for grounding and shorts... everything seemed good....
Couldn't get past the idea that it was a fuel or air problem... she'd run briefly after sitting an extended period, and sputter a bit with the throttle propped open...
I pulled the top of the intake off. She started right up.
That is the good news.
The bad...
Suddenly, the intake erupted what seemed to be a gallon of fuel out of all six ports, spraying hard enough to coat the side of my boat three feet from the EXPLODER. Boof, the engine compartment burst into flames.
Ever the cool cucumber in a crisis, I instantly freaked the eff out. Hehe. I jumped out the door, slammed tghe hood closed, jumped into the boat and grabbed the extinguisher from the cuddy, ripping the mount bracket clean off the bulkhead and taking it with me. I jumped down, ran over, and sprayed the poo out of the engine through the grill.
So, I now know what is wrong with my truck. All my wiring is melty and crisp. Of course it won't run.
I'm not clear on why it did that. That was an AWFUL lot of fuel that sprayed out of the intake... and forcefully. WTF.

It sounds like your engine has jumped time and now it's your insurance company's problem as it should go to the dealer and they will rewire and do a complete repair or condemn it and it will be a total. You can then buy a new(er) truck, then you can buy it back and either fix it or make a play toy out of it,
Some times you get lucky, or not.
