'04 Exp won't start question
04 Expedition 200,000plus no problems leading up to this issue
Truck turns over but won't start. Fuel Pump was replaced a couple years ago and kicks in when power is applied. Starter has a higher pitched sound than normal when it's turning over. Coil packs have been changed.
Daughter was using a code reader and the reader showed 3 codes after the diagnostic check but when she asked the reader to read the codes it displayed "no codes found". She then cleared the codes (She doesn't know why she cleared the codes). Now, no codes show at all after an attempt to crank.
Will a clogged Cat cause this or is it gonna be more along the lines of a No Spark issue?
****I made it out to the truck (I'm disabled and it's quite the chore to get out). I managed to get it started by pumping the accelerator when it sounded like it wanted to start. Runs fine now. Acted like a vapor lock****
