1978 F150 Dash Light help
What wires power the dash lights? half of them were working when I removed the speedometer to check the bulbs which were fine and when I re installed it none of them work. The heater control lights up but nothing in the dash will light up. The altenator light flashes now too but only when the headlights are off. The altenaltor is charging as I have tested it. ??? If I knew which wires to test it would help narrow down the problem Im guessing. Also which is ground? Thanks

take the plug off the back of the gauge cluster, and clean the copper contacts on everything with rubbing alcohol. I took my bulbs out, and cleaned all the contacts with a file, and all the soft copper printed circuits with rubbing alcohol and every one of my lights works.
