man-step

Picked up an F-250 tailgate with the "man-step" yesterday that I found on Craigslist for my truck. Just have to get it painted to match my truck. Maaco said they could do it - sand, prime, basecoat and clearcoat for $150.
Got a good deal on it. Now will put my tailgate up on Craigslist. Mine's Arizona Beige. Took a bit to convince the wife I NEEDED it.

Just make sure you grunt alot when using it like its really needed so the Ms. will be happy to see your not hurting yourself getting into the bed

$150 that is cheapdo they take it apart handle, emblem, step, top plastic. before paint or just mask it?

i got a qoute from my paint shop they wanted $600. to sand paint and prime and re-re.

man step was the best thing i got on my f-350. don't know how i lived without it for the past 25 years.

I told the paint shop that I would take it all apart and just bring them the shell.
I asked the paint guy if it would peel in six months for that price. He laughed and said its a lifetime guarantee.
