Cold Bending verses Hot
I bent one end of the Snow Blade on my Lawn Tractor. I'm slowly Cold bending the curve back into the blade. I'm almost done with it. The Neighborhood "Expert" is telling me I need to heat it up to bend it back. Seems like I would loose the temper in the blade. There is no way I could heat the whole blade and then evenly quinch it.

You really think the blade is alloy steel? You generally don't temper plain carbon steel. Tempering is for hardened/alloy steels. If it is plain carbon steel heating won't hurt. It may make it easier to bend back into place. Just don't quench it, let it air cool.

Depending on the thickness and size of bend, I'd probably just heat the area and bend it. If it's just a small area like a corner, then I'd use an adjustable wrench and tweak it back close with no heat.
Steel that has been heated to bend it will bend again more easily, but it isn't critical in your situation.
