I checked my vacumm pump and it takes about 3 to 4 minutes to turn itself off.

Also, Where is the PVHS connection so I can also check it ? Is it also on the fender right behind the resovoir.

Just to make sure I plugged the right line, I put the orange cap on the plastic inline connector in the pic with the red arrow.

It could take that long if it had no vac at all.

Bottom right of pic.

I plugged mine in the same place. No leak.

Wish I were in Monroe to lend you a hand.

PVHS connection is under the electrical plug, I removed everything to do with the ESOF and it works great now. I circled the PVHS in this pic and the arrow points to the vacuum line that connects to it. Also, under that line with the arrow to it is the connection on the res. that I connected directly to the vac. line going to the HVAC in the truck.

What are you guys using to cap these lines off? Is this cap something universal that a napa type store would have?

This sucks. Something so simple shouldn't be this difficult.

The vac res is holding vac isn't it? no idea

The vac pump does run, doesn't it? yes

It only defaults to defrost in 4WD? it does now and wont go back unless i shut off the engine and restart

Thinking out loud and all I have are questions and no answers.
i have the exact same issues. and in red.

i have a early 99 CC LB 4x4 4r100

so i just looked at some diragrams on the hvac. and have a start. but not sure since i havent messed with it. whats yalls input on this?

no... pulling is just torque-steer. Thats why they put auto hubs on things, to get away from it. Woun't really hurt anything, just spins the front end all the time. Don't run 4x in high traction situations (dry pavement etc)
