Mike,
Two of my friends had hard drives crash. I never have (knocking on wood), but their experience was a learning lesson for me. I back up my laptop to my desktop and backup the desktop to an external hardrive. Better safe then sorry.
Well, I checked all the connections today on both the HVAC line, line to hubs and also the connections under the dash on the passenger side and all were good.

And what do you mean by my info being horrendous.
Sorry Robin, ment to put a period there, guess I was tired. Mark, I hope you get it, just going on troubleshooting tips I've learned here, never had a problem yet, knock on wood, bump..
Do you know how long the vac pump should run when I start the truck up ?? maybe my vac res is not holding vac.
If you pull one of the vac lines out of the res and release the vacuum then when you turn on the key it should run a couple of minutes. There is a vacuum sensing switch on the pump that will shut it off at a certain vac level. If it runs continuosly then there is a vac leak. If it doesn't run at all check fuse #28 under dash.

Will do Mark, I will also snap a few pics of what I did to cure the same problem you are having. Just have to wait a few minutes till the camera charges up.
The pump ran for ~30 seconds and shut off. What I did was simply eliminate any vacuum lines for the ESOF since I don't ever plan on using it again. I'll get a few pics if you want but they don't show much. It is just one line from the vac. pump to the res. and from the res. to the HVAC line that goes into the cab. I eliminated all lines for the ESOF, even the one to the PVHS, which I feel was causing my vac. leaks and is probably causing yours.
