oxygen sensors

im having issues with figuring out the oxys the one before the cat is factory 2 wired but all the stores call for a 4 wire heated can anybody give me any insite

well every time I ask for an oxygen sensor they ask me how many wires?
seems as though they used different ones on the same years
so just get a 2 wire if it needs to be replaced-if that is what it has

That truck will have one 3 or 4wire heated sensor.

ic it has a 3 wire sensor but the harness plug is only a 2 wire it has me a bit perplexed but it aint hooked up its the precat o2 but no ses light yet ,and another one, is there software to flash this pcm or reburn the prom chip and and hardware and where do i find it

That can't be, this truck would not have multiple O2 sensors that's an OBD-2 thing, and it should definitely have 3 or 4 wires in the O2 sensor harness, maybe the connector you're looking at isn't the right one.

No, these computers don't have flash or prom memory.
