Anyone hide their alternator wire? Or all the engine bay wires?
Hi there jrockdiddy,
I accomplished this by purchasing some 1/2 inch flexible hose (the kind used for gardening) at your local hardware store, feeding the wires through then feeding that tube in between the frame rails and zip tying them.
Of course I had to convert to a GM style alternator and I'm certain it helped that I worked with a new EZ Wiring harness.
I'd show you a pic but there's no wire to see...

I too have a Painless harness and a 1 wire alternator. I altered the course of the harness for the alternator charging wire. Painless would have you run the charging wire all the way in to the fuse block (inside the cab), then back out to the battery connection on the solenoid. I went directly to the battery connection on the solenoid. I did put in a big fuse right at the alternator. All of the wires are wrapped in the Painless mesh wrapping which is black and doesn't look too bad. That alternator wire runs in some adel clamps along the base of the valve cover.
I'll try to get out to the barn tonight to snap a pic.
