trying to program keyless
97 250 sc hd
i tried the off to on x8 position with the key and could not get it to go into program mode. could not get into progm mode in my 96 either, my 96 allready has 1 clicker that works but the 97 dosnt. im not sure the 97 even has the option
any thoughts?

Turn ignition to RUN or ACC. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located at the base of the steering column.. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. Press any button on 1st transmitter. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. Press any button on 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters total possible). Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.
