Excursion v-10 won't start

Maybe someone may know more than me, but on some trucks w/ an in tank pump there is a screen on the p/u. Could this be a possibility?

Very much so, it's a problem that occurs on the Excursion and Super Duty trucks from 99-03.

I think it may be a combination of the pick up screen being clogged and the pump killing itself just to get some fuel flowing again. Regardless, you'll have to drop the tank to get it fixed....
