So what's the deal with these stickers? I assume all trucks that came out of the KY Truck Plant (my window sticker says mine did) got one, correct? Mine's missing and I've wondered why a few times. Maybe the windshield has been replaced? Or maybe it got removed by a state inspection tech?
Anybody have any other theories about why mine would be missing? Just curious.
It was Sam's post that got me thinking that maybe mine's gone because WV inspection stickers are on the drivers side.....?

Made it back from camping safe and sound! I will be able to get the sticker order in quicker than I thought! Within the next two days when I get time I will run down and tell him what I need and should get an exact cost and will post up.
BTW my sticker is cracked and faded as well. The X is white on the sticker.
I thought I read somewhere that stated that the original design of the sticker was to have "cracks" printed on it. Someone asked if their truck came out of the KY plant, a quick way to determine is to look at your door jamb VIN tag. If it says "MFD. BY FORD MOTOR CO. IN USA", it was built in the KY plant. If it only states "MFD. BY FORD MOTOR CO.", it would be a Mexico truck (where else do they build SDs?)
Wow. I never thought to look in to this. I'll have to take a look at the door sticker and see what the truck says. I don't know if there is a plant sticker still on the window. I am guessing not.
EXCUSE ME!!!!! Canada was fighting WWII long before the USA got involved!! if it wasn't for us we would be speaking German!!
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!
What does WWII have to do with US independence?
My northern friend, Huskerville said "But then again you didn't have to fight for your independence", meaning the US did. He also didn't say, "fight to preserve our freedom" which is what we were doing in WWII, which meant he wasn't referencing WWII as you alluded to. No, he was instead referencing our Revolutionary War, which was when our collection of colonies kicked some British red coat azz right back across "The Pond".
