Low Lock

2002 4WD,Backing out of my drivway in LowLock,and trying to turn it off it won't go into 2wd.I usually have to stop and go into reveres to get it to unlock.Also sometimes it is hard to get it into LowLock.

Normally for me it is neutral and I have to wait a second or two..maybe 10..

Yeah, you really just have to play around with going between neutral, reverse, drive, but ulitmately end up in neutral and just give it a few seconds.

I'm assuming you have ESOF, not the lever.To get mine(ESOF) out of 4 low, I have to go to neutral, come to a complete stop, depress brake pedal and it shifts just fine, maybe takes 2-3 seconds. I've found that if you dont depress the brake pedal it won't come out of 4 low.
