so he can keep up with me. LoL. Me and Richard will both be pulling our engines this year for some upgrading. he will likely just do like cryo rods and block, maybe pistons and fix his oil pan, maybe a girdle too

i will be balancing the bottom end, cryoing the block, bearings, rods, mains, crank, pistons, heads, and the girdle. then on to building time it will get a DI regrind cam, pushrods, heads have some port work, put a '97 timing cover on it and then start with fuel and oil and work towards a turbo along with another somethin' somethin' to light up about a 76mm turbo w/ a 5 speed easily. LoL

When Richard comes down i might not have the big injectors/turbo in it yet, but i should have the engine pulled and build and put back in.

mid 8's in what now?! what would race weight be? i will tell you this, you will need A LOT of power to pull 8's. 8's isn't playing around man and it won't even be cheap in a 12V. hope y'all are prepared to drop around $20k real quick like. my buddy is swapping a 12V into his SD and he is already down $10k i think and the engine isn't assembled, he doesn't have injectors, turbos, tranny, or pump work done yet either.

Ya, Chris had the motor in his truck before... go to his website and take a look at the truck, ran 10.45 in his 01 dodge body.... his most hp to date i believe was 1450... so the motor already has the work done to it, and the raceweight will be very light since its a fiberglass body and tube chassis... it will be a fun truck

.......its more like Travis is trying to keep up with me... lol He just doesnt know about the 15K that I have sittin around for the CR conversion.. lol.... I wish. But hopefully Travis runs into a slight snag and doesnt have his air supply in order or the garden hoses to supply them. That way it can still be a close race, and this way I won't have to hear all the excuses when all he sees is red in a haze of black.... lol... that would be nice haha. Hey Travis quick question on the rods, you thin i can just take mine out an have them treated or am i better off getting recon'd ones?
