thats wht im talkin bout!! man thats awesome... 238's it is then, this adrenaline pump... is it as good as a stealth? seems like they are more popular for the 100 range inj.
it says up to 220cc injectors, so yeah it would be adequate but i cant imagine your egts would stay low enough to maximize the 238cc anyhow lol youd have to back out before you got to top end where youd run out of fuel. it was on a superduty truck, so youd still be in that ball park. he was in a hurry so i didnt get to ask him that much about the truck, he had a 3.5 hour drive back to newyork and it was 10 at night lol by the sounds of it,m deffinelty stock everything else. it was 3 kids pitching in a fdew bucks here and there to get some hp out of a work truck.
That is the CPR kit from dieselsite, and it is what Travis is running (Strokin'_Tatsch) and he loves it. You can also look at beans diesel performance at there set-up or read about some performance DIY setups. As for the turbo from the shop down the street, the stock turbo on the OBS can not be upgraded in any way to be able to support 4-500 horse. So put that 1500 towards a turbo setup
i kinda figured that, CPR sells an extreme kit too its a lil bit higher than that one but supposed to be for stage 3's. i thought maybe they gor a bigger housing for the turbo and a bigger impeller or something, i was just curious, so this HS2 turbo or whatever is the one to get then?
Well there are a bunch of different options when it comes to the turbo. An H2E is a very good option and for 238cc hybrids your going to want to go with a modded H2E for the added air. Beans Diesel Performance has a complete kit aswell as Wide Open Performance. And you could also go with a QSSB kit which comes from WOP and is about the same price. There is also a lot of other options but we can get into those at another time
well there are some people that find they need them sooner than others but I was reading the other day that 550-600 it becomes a good insurance measure, but there are people that are higher than that. And that price isn't just for the turbo, it is for the entire system to install it. I/C pipes, spyder, turbo, pedistal, and up pipes (I think). But I think that you need to get 3" intake plenums, I'm not 100% on that but it is worth calling to talk to Bean and see exactly what your going to need.
