2001 f250 7.3 Diesel running good, quit firing on some of the cyclinders, lost power

Drove home. Started up the next day, drove good plenty of power and then after driving about 1/8 mile, lost power again. Any suggestions on the problem and what I should check for.

Do you have a scanner or something to do a buz test? Possible IDM heating or solenoids getting heat saturation. Also IPR orings could be leaking after warm up lowering oil pressure to injectors. Any codes?

Sounds like the classic UVCH syndrome. One of your Under valve Cover Harness may be coming unplugged.

Here's a thread for you to read; https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...ck-shakes.html

Yep, sounds like my issue exactly which turned out to be my drivers side UVCH.

My post is here if interested.
