missing badly

i replaced the drivers side exhaust manifold with a shorty header but broke a bolt ont he passenger's side. Im planning on taking it to a mechanic to get him to do the header on that side. When I start it there is an exhaust leak on the drivers side, i think from the flange. any suggestions on how to fix this? ive taken it off and re-tightened it.

more importantly though, the engine is now missing and backfiring horribly. i did remove two sparkplugs during the installation but i checked them and theyre fine. i would check the wiring diagram for the spark plug wires but i am in the process of moving and my chiltons manual is packed god knows where. i did label the wires though, and i put them back the way theyre labeled. any ideas?
