Clutch issue

I tried searching but couldn't find any threads with my problem. My clutch has a little issue where if press the pedal down really really slow it will go all the way to the floor, but if I put some pressure, not a lot, on the pedal quickly, it will catch and the clutch works fine. Say I am driving and getting ready to shift, if I lightly set my foot on the pedal it will slowly go down. The only resistance is the spring until I push fast enough for it to catch. If I quickly put my foot on the pedal, it will catch from the very top. There are no leaks in the system and I really don't think it's air trapped. I don't know how the master cylinder is built, but my guess would be some kind of one way valve isnt doing it's job until I push fast enough for the fluid to shut it. Anybody have issues like this? Forgot to mention the truck is a 93 f150 with essentric? Slave cylinder

Assuming you have no fluid loss, it sounds like a bad master cylinder. If you replace it make sure you "bench bleed" the new one before you connect the line.
