I have a brand new issue that just started with my hvac system.. With the heater on full speed it works great, but when i step on the accel, i can hear the heater almost loose power. It sounds like the blower gets turned down but when i let off the accel, the power restores to normal. there is no change in the temp, just the speed of the blower? Any possible causes?

Check to see if the air flow is being directed to the defroster vents at the same time.

You didn't say--is yours a 4x4? If yes, it may be a vacuum leak to your hubs. Fairly common. Causes vacuum-operated internal doors to return to "normal" state. The change in blower pitch you hear is probably just the air being sent to a different output location.
