we have alot of old logging roads and fire roads through the woods here,some of the ones on the mountain are washed out just enough to make it challenging to get up some of them,its one of my favorite ways to spend a sunday.

We went almost 75 miles off the pavement. This was the entrance to the Olympic National Forest past Lord's Lake. The beginning of the good road is Forest Service Road 2700-080 I believe. If you just drive past the lake, taking the left at the Y past it, keep driving until it stops at a T intersection. To the left is FS 27 and the right takes you up to Bon Jon Pass and Mt. Zion. If you just go straight, there is a road not on the map I had, and that was 080. I would have kept going but it was getting dark and I don't have the crazy night light setups like some of you guys lolz. I don't know how some of you don't get by without 2 or 3 alternators.
Thanks for the compliments. I'm taking a couple of extra cans of gas and a tent next time I head that way. The road looked like it circled around all the little mountains there.
