Silly question, but my blinkers in my '96 are REALLY SLOW. The hazards are normal, but blinkers themselves blink really slow....any ideas? Flasher? Fuses? Thanks.
I have a loos connection in the lighting of my explorer. when one light quits, it seems to blink faster. does it constantly blink at the same rate or does it seem to change some times. I had a weird blinker on my 95 that would slowly change the rate while I was sitting at a light. some times i could hear it just going slower and slower and slower. then one day, it just fixed itself.
I have seen cars on the road where the blinker is fast and then when I pull up next the the car the front isn't flashing or visa versa. I don't know if that has to do with how its wired or what, but I have seen it fairly often.
This is why when people swap to LED tail lights their blinkers flash fast unless they get an electronic flasher. My friend did this on his truck and went back to regular bulbs.
I do know that when I hook up to a trailer mine flash fast too because of the added lights. I got an electronic flasher to solve that problem.
