A mud truck really has no business with a doubler with 44s or less. Good gears, good motor and decent tires will get you through most anything. Wheelspeed is the key and thats usually impossible with super low gears/doubler.
I dont know, sometimes its nice to pop it into "low,low" and shift through the gears.. although I have a little motor.. with both axles locked, sometimes in just low range I cant get then 44s so spin quick enough, so slappin it into low low and slam gears is the way I hav to do it sometimes...
