Check west coast craigslist if you want a truck with no rust... might be some high miles and need tlc but at least they are solid out here.

Well, I have to do this. I wish you had posted earlier. I have a friend that owns a landscape company. He is NOT mechanically inclined nor the brightest tool in the shed when it some to maintaining his equipment. He just traded a '96 F250 Stroke, Auto, 4WD Crew w/short bed. This truck has a rebuilt title and has 250K on the odometer. He quit driving it because of a bad oil leak. SERIOUS OIL LEAK! 8 to 10 gallons in 10 miles. Truck lost power and had no mo go go....LOL Other needs, batter cables and the passenger side locker replaced. He told me we needed a truck that was running, I told him to fix that one. He said it was too expensive. I had another buddy that had a 91 F250 Reg Cab 302/5spd 2wd w/179k miles. His brother gave him that truck, they traded straight across......AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!! They borrowed my trailer to swap. Tommy took the truck right to the shop. I showed up 2 hours later and he was still looking for the leak. I know you guys already know where it was leaking......on top of the intake under the filer are a cpl of oils lines and a plug. I showed Tommy when i got there, he tightened it up and NO MORE LEAK! Tommy has about 110 dollars in that truck now. He told me he had to contain himself...but he said it was REALLY HARD! BTW, I told Mike how to fix it and even offered, he said no...........o well que sera sera...

4wd running in the $3500 range... give or take $500 due to miles and condition.
