I bought a leveling kit from Top Gun Customz and it didn't come with instructions from the make. Instead Top Gun put in their own instructions and this is what it says....
1. Disconnect Track Bar at axle
2. Disconnect Sway Bar links
3. Place jack stands under frame rails on both sides
4. Lift front axle with floor jack
5. Remove Wheels and tires
6. One side at a time, keep pressure on the axle with floor jack
7. remove upper shock nut
8. Make sure there is enough slack in the brake lines to lower axle
9. Lower the floor jacke enough to remove coil spring
10. Install spacer on top of coil spring and reinstall.
11. make sure to attach the top of shock before starting the other side.
12.Do same steps 6-12 on the opposite side.
So I just want to make sure this is what I have to do for the install or is there something that is missing or you can add to make it easier. Thanks
What year truck and what leveling kit? Did you get shocks? Leveling kits are very easy to install. My 08 gas I did not have to remove sway bar or track bar. Just shocks and brake lines.
How big is the leveling kit? I would think you would have to remove the sway/track bar unless it's only a 1" kit. If 2.5" i think you might have to without putting stress on them.
