You used to be able to buy the pump separately from the HFCM, and replaced just that component.. Not sure if you still can.. Used HFCM's are often up for sale as guys install AM fuel systems..

Haha I am one of those that has an extra HFCM sitting around that I need to sell. Last time I checked the replacement fuel pump was about the same price as the whole HFCM new but they do still sell the pump.
I also here about drilling out the banjo bolts, what does that do? and where are they at?
opening it up reduces the restriction through the bolt.. if you run strong tunes, it may help with a little more volume/pressure to the heads.. it won't hurt anything as long as you don't weaken them too much..
here's a pic.. the arrow points to the PS banjo bolt..
Of course, it's no bigger than the line that feeds it..
If you see any benefit, it'll be with really strong tunes that can drain the cylinder head fuel passages quickly.. Opening the bolts may allow the pump to keep up a little easier..If this is the only fuel system mod done, I think the benefits will be minimal, if any..
Everything that i've seen, with tunes that strong, it's more than just the banjo bolts that need to be improved upon. If you had a stronger fuel pump, drilling the bolts out would make more sense..

yes.. it has bigger supply lines from the upper fuel bowl to the heads, and return lines from the back of the heads that tie to a pressure regulator..I also run a second HFCM in-line with the original, and have run new lines/pick-up from the tank..
