is there a possiability that it could have came out of time? if so how to check and how to set timing? as well what could have caused it to get out of time?....just throwin things out there cuz iam lost
if i remember around the 176k if i remeber correctly ofcourse on that year it doesnt have the extra didget for the 100k but the motor looks too clean to have over that on it but i could be wrong so 176k or 476k but i would go with 176k
**** fire and save the matches...just got off the phone with my buddy the truck is up and going...neither of us know why but said he finaly got mad started crankin on it let off had his father-in-law spray it with either the next cyle of crankin and it fired and he said its runnin great..maybe runnin it out of fuel put a lot of fuel in the lines but iam still haveing a hard time beleiving there was that much air in the lines....but its up and going and hopefully it wont crap out again...thanks again everyone for the tips, info, and help!!!
I just noticed your location what kind of tepps have you had the last day or two.
Always disable your glowplugs before you shoot any amount of either in it.
If it started on either it either isn't spinning over fast enough or the glowplugs are not working properly. It is possible it has low compression but not likely.
it hasnt been that bad here past couple of days cold at night and 30's-40's in day time....he has had the truck pluged in but i dont know ...it started and we are both stumped as well iam sure you guys are 2 but it started and its up and going now....thanks again
lol...could have been i have been known to park a car or truck in the back 40 when its pissd me off and let it sit and think about what its done...just neede some loving kind words....thanks again!!!
switch to an electric pump.turn the key and she self primes boys.
pushing fuel is better than sucking it even if some people disagree and dont like modern technology lol.
save the starter for starting.let an electric pump do the fueling.
do i agree with those who claim it works fine if everything is maintained? yup.
but i also know when somethings better than just fine.
just my 2 cents.
Amen! Brother, Amen! You don't need a fancy pump, A cheap solenoid pump will suffice.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
