ford factory clock?

ford factory clock?
did ford ever offer a clock as an option in the slick series? i am thinking of putting a tach in the left blank of my 63 f250 4x4. right now all i have is the speedo (my dash is standard 3 holer not the "sweptline" i guess it's called). i am thinking of putting in a factory tack on the left of the speedo and would like a clock on the right. i see on ebay there is air pressure gauge over there on the right occasionally but never see a clock? anyone ever done something similar?
thanks.
thanks.

on my uncles 65 f100 4x4 on the left hole is the voltage gauge and on the right is oil pressure... i would suggest not cutting a big hole in your dash so its not ruined... the tach on his truck is on the top of the steering colom held on by a hose clamp.
this is how its laid out
( voltage ) ( Speedo + idoit lights ) ( Oil Pressure )

A clock was an optional accessory beginning in 1965, but...it mounted on the top of the dash.
The same clock was also an accessory for Falcon/Comet's, Bronco's, Econoline's & Mustang's (without the "Rally Pack").
While the Mustang Rally Pack (which contained a clock and a tach) was not an accessory for trucks, one could be installed as the steering column is the same diameter.
There were two different Rally Pack tach's. I-6's read to 6,000 RPM, V8's to 8,000 RPM. The Rally Pack has been reproduced, many are available used.

thanks guys for the information. looks like i will have to modify something from a different application since no slicks came with an in dash clock (i see a 67 thunderbird clock looks alot like the tach i have).
my bezel already has a small hole cut in each "blank" on either side of the speedo, apparently the hampshire illinois street department figured that would be a good place to put the toggle switches for the amber lights. i did put my tach (which is some kind of 4000rpm stewert warner with idle(red), operating range(green), overspeed(RED, STOP AHHH!) printed on it) up to the left "blank out" on my bezel and it looked like it fit perfectly so maybe some kind of clock would balance things out on the other side. that or i'll just stick in a factory air pressure gauge.
anyway thanks again.

I think that setup with a tach & clock on a standard bezel would look fine. If your bezel was chrome and no previous cut/holes I wouldn't install. The standard cab version is pretty accessibly in my area & on the web. But not the 65-66 sweep type (which are repo around $150) or the 61-64 chrome round type bezel.
Just my two cents worth.

to be honest i'm not sure about anything on my old truck . i've been getting some of my information from pictures on ebay. there is a bezel listed that shows the tach on the left and to the right of the speedometer a gauge that says air pressure on it. so i'm guessing the options where tach on the left air pressure on the right. or maybe thats for a bronco or something.

Ppl also add aftermarket gauges that were never available as original.
If...you had the 1957/63 or 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog, you would see that the same...
Steel instrument cluster bezels (one painted, one chrome) were used on all F100/750's (except 1965/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD Custom Cab's), 1961/69 N/NT/T500/1000's, 1967/69 F800/1000's, but...
F100/350's: The two blank panels on either side of the round speedometer is where the optional oil/amp gauges go. Oil gauge on the passenger side, amp gauge on drivers side.
1961/66 F500/750, 1961/69 N/NT/500/1000, 1967/69 F800/1000: The Tach goes on the passenger side of the round speedometer, the optional Vacuum Gauge used for the AIR BRAKES (if applicable) goes on the drivers side.
Caveat Emptor = Let the buyer beware. The tachs used on big trucks are not apropos for F100/350's as the red line is either 3,000 or 4,000 RPM.
And...most of these tachs are cable driven off the dizzy.
1966/77 Bronco's do not use the same instrument cluster bezel as any of the trucks.
The Bronco has fan shaped gauges for the oil/amp/fuel/temp surrounding the round speedometer. There is a round chrome bezel surrounding the speedometer, and that's it.

You cannot depend on pics you see on ebay, CraigsList and etc...because ppl tend to swap things around from the original locations.

as for putting tachs and clocks etc in my dash bezel i think finding something aftermarket is sounding alot easier. just need to get something new that looks old i guess.
