2004 F250, headlights don't seem very bright? I am sure there is a way to make them brighter so those of you who have done the upgrade please give me some advise, perhaps better bulbs?
Wow are the newer trucks that bad? With my headlights properly adjusted I've got no problems. I have considered putting in Silverstars when one of 'em dies, but the stockers seem just fine on my '99.
A while back there were a lot of posts about putting '05 lights into the '03/04 trucks, along with doing the whole front clip to update the looks. As I recall, the reflector design changed and also the bulbs were different which resulted in more light and a better pattern. The newer lights can be fit up to the older trucks with a little bit of modification to the panel the housings mount to, just some trimming for clearance to the buckets or something like that. I priced the parts for the whole clip update two years ago and it was about $1500 back then. You could get the Harley lights with the kit for a bit more...
