automatic choke?

automatic choke?
Can any carb be modded to use an automatic choke? (the kind that uses a heat tube off the exhaust manifold to the carb)
Mainly a 2100 or 4100 Autolite? (i have a 2 bbl 2100 on right now, but once it's warmer I'm gonna throw a 4 bbl intake on and I have choice of a factory Holley or a 4100 Autolite)
I still have the Holley that was off my original engine(original engine in my truck is long gone) and it had an automatic choke.
My dad was the previous owner and said he never had a lick of trouble with his automatic choke for 30 years, til the tube rusted off.

sure you can "mod" them but I would say you want to use a electric choke and not the old spring method as that might not pull hard enough for "any carb"
I personally always hated those spring things, electric is nice but I also don't like to wonder where my choke is, manual the whole way round!
