Have any of you guys used the engine stand Harbor Freight sells. Just got an ad the other day and it says it is rated for 2000lbs. Just curious to hear if anyone has any personal experience with them.

 

I have one, the only motor I have had on it was the F motor out of my 73 landcruiser. It worked as described but I would want something bigger for a PS.

what kind of plans do you have for it?

 

I found a used 02 motor w/98k on it for $2200 and am considering swapping it out myself, but I need an engine stand that would be heavy enough. Would be nice to have a hoist as well, but the skid should work for the lifting duties. I am still trying to talk myself into this project!LOL!
