having issues moving

i got a 93 diesel, and im havin issues with it. itll go into gear, but even at full throttle it will barely move. any ideas where to start?

automatic i assume? i would check you transmission fluid level first.

yes auto, fluid level is fine

Man the auto tranny problems right now lol. At least I am not alone out there. Being a 93 I assume it is an e4od? Does the fluid smell burnt or is real dirty?

fluid smells slightly odd, but not quite burnt, clean

Mine was clean and only slightly burnt smelling but was slipping like crazy. Maybe it is the pump or converter. Automatics are not my thing I hate them that is way as soon as possible I am going to a manual.
