06 f150 code p 0430
My truck is throwing out a p430 code that says catalyst system efficiency below threshhold (bank2). I changed the drivers side first o2 sensor. The truck is an 06 and has 118000 miles and won't pass emmisions. Could it be another 02 sensor or the catalytic converter? The Ford converter costs $1000. Hope thats not it.

Cat effic. code....Needs a cat!! Cats seem to be pretty common on these trucks. Our shop just did 3 of them in the last 2 weeks.
Cat effic. is monitored through the down streem(2nd) O2 sensor, so replacing the 1st one did nothing.... Sorry!
