I need some help with a O2 sensor on my 1999 Mercury Mountaineer V-8 AWD truck, the check engine light came on and the code read (P0133) and the code is a O2 SENSOR CKT SLOW RESPONSE BANK 1 SENSOR. Can someone help me out which sensor is that? I know i have 4 sensors on my converters and want to make sure i get the right one, greatly appreicate all help and answers.
Ok so thats the one on the top or the bottom and thats the left side right? Im not too familiar with this stuff so thats why im asking. As for upstream what are you referring to? Thanks for the help!
Upstream is closest to the engine, downstream is always after the cat. bank 1 is on the #1 cyl side (on ford thats rh side of the engine from drivers seat). On transverse engines,(front wheel drive) Cyl #1 is on rh side as if you were standing behind the engine (cowl side). Hope this helps.
