I just found my truck not long ago. It has an old Gulf station logo on the door i'm seriously concidering keeping/restoring. Hopefully this spring i can check to see if the station is even still around.

fyi: another (shudder) newbie, this be my first post <g>

I remember (and that's a task in itself) when I was about 8-10 my dad had a pickup and he had the doors lettered with C.O. Eckart & Son. I thought that was the coolest thing going and pointed it out to all my buddies. Good memories.

At first I was pretty admite about not having door art on my truck, (it's my business truck) but I look at things like this and I go, "you know, that is just plan cool..."

Crap... and you know I'm going to have to paint it on there and not just use a decal.

My dad had my truck lettered when he used it for his auto service business. It was nothing too fabulous, he used store bought stencils. I still wish I could find pictures of the truck from those days.

I have the following pic on my desktop. i think this is one of the best looking F100's I've seen, in terms of stance, wheel type and size etc. The shop logos on the doors just totally make it for me.
