I am think about putting a Roush supercharger on my truck. Anyone who has done it have any advice? Should I even supercharge it or should I do some other performance first?

I think supercharging would be the easiest way to get the most power. You could tune it. add exhaust, and CAI but that will in no way compare performance wise. Granted supercharging will be more expensive but you won't regret it. Plus you'll have that sweet supercharger wine. YouTube - Matt's Supercharged F-150
Also ask tylus about supercharging, he added one to his previous truck so he has a lot of great info on this topic.
I saw that on the checkout screen that you can put in a Coupon Code on the Roush Website. Does anyone know where I could get one so it would make it a little bit cheaper?
very fun to drive. and the install is pretty straightforward.
look on eBay for Roush's Non-Intercooled Supercharger (+112 HP/TQ) for about $2,100-2,300...or the Intercooled Supercharger (+145 HP/TQ) for about $5,000
My blower was probably the best mod I've ever done. I am totally addicted to the whine of the blower. Currently trying to figure out how to get the Saleen Supercharger for my Expedition and the Ford Racing Whipple for my Mustang...but that is a butt-ton of money.
Mod wise, i would install the blower, then get it professionally tuned. Nothing else needed. You will be amazed at what a 6,000 lb truck with over 500 crank TQ can do...btw, that video of the FX4 above is highly highly modified from stock. I've talked with him about his setup...and it is sweet...but a big price tag as well

Unless he changed his gauges, I don't believe that's an FX4 in the above video?
I'll be pulling the trigger on a ROUSHCharger this spring. I contemplated going with the intercooled version, but to be honest....I'm just looking to add a healthy dose of "jam" to the bottom end and mid range of the truck. After all…it is a 4X4, not a quarter mile blaster.
Even stock, I don't find the truck all that anemic.....another 112hp/112tq at the flywheel will probably be just what the doctor ordered. I’d like to see if Troyer is able to supply a tune for regular gas too…even if it cuts the power some.
Besides, with the money I save on buying the non-intercooled kit over the intercooled kit, plus whatever I get for my Cougar in the spring, I should be able to pick an '03-'04 Mustang Mach 1 that I've been thinking about for the last several months.

sorry, got him confused with another guy
there is also a blue FX4 running around with 500 RWHP using the RoushCharger and "bolt ons"...he hasn't gotten into the internals yet, just some fun stuff on the outside.
considering that the tranny eats about 80-100 Hp...500 RWHP is extremely impressive...and scary
Indeed...makes me kind of chuckle when I hear the Kenne Bell/Whipple die hards say Eatons are no good for making power and the only PD blower worth having is a Twin Screw.
