trans swap question

will a 5spd trans out of an 89 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 7.5 bolt up to my 86 3/4 6.9?

Im not sure if it bolt up to the 6.9 diesel but I could be be wrong, Someone correct me if im wrong but didnt the 5 speeds get put behind the 7.3?

i know the 429 (7.0) the 7.3 diesel and the 460 (7.5) have the same bolt pattern but wasnt sure on the 6.9. i just thought it woulda been nice to have a 5 spd in the 86 4x4 instead of the 4 spd.

You need to find one from a diesel, they have a different bolt pattern than the 460. 300,302,351 share the same bolt pattern, the 460 and diesel each have their own bolt pattern.
