t-case questions

ive got a 66 f100 4x4 and its got the two-speed t-case. im wondering how to convert it to an NP205 cause i got one i pulled out of a 78 f150. are the trannys the same or would i have to change the tranny to change the t-case? (its got a 4 speed)

it should fit, i beleive ford only ever used one bolt pattern for their t-cases...that NP205 is a heavy sucker it will need something to hold it up or it can crack the tranny

ok thanks. i was wonderin cause those two speed cases SUCK. im not sure what kind of tranny it is, but ill pull the old t-case out later and probably fabricate me a better crossmember
