I'm replacing the tail turn and stop lights with LED's, There is a cross reference guide on the web site for flasher replacement to stop the fast flash caused by the LED bulbs. on my '08 F-350 I am looking for the turn signal flasher location so I can pull it and swap it out... I dont have an owners manual for it... Thank you for your help ~~~Chris
I don't think there is a flasher on the '08. The turn signals are controlled by the computer, which has to be reprogrammed if you change the lighting load.
Better approach is to get the replacements from someone like Recon that has a resistor installed to keep the draw where the computer thinks it should be.
08's dont have flashers, its controlled by the smart junction box (body computer) which is also the fuse box location. it has programable features to it, not sure about reprogramming flash rate though. the flasher sound you here is a tone generator in the instrument cluster
