I am attempting to adapt a 2000 F250 fuel pump module into an older vehicle. However, I need to replace the stock pump with a 255lph version. I have information from one source that calls out a Walbro GSS342 for this application, but it appears that the body of the 342 is very similar to the GSS340, which does not fit. This is the fully enclosed plastic housing module, not the hanger type.
Has anyone had any luck fitting a 255lph pump into the plastic housing module? If so, can you please supply P/N's, links, pics, etc. Anything would be helpful.
Thanks from the newb for the help. This is what's it's going in.
