I know some of us are searching for a good rebuild. There has been a good discussion on PSN involving Tidewater. One of our brothers knows the guy personally. Seems like a killer price on a good motor from a top notch shop.

After reading the info on the ebay site, that sounds like one quality built engine. It's hard to believe that they can do all that machining, specing, blueprinting and balancing and use quality parts for only $3100. If it's as good as they say it is, that is one super deal! Dan (Kwikk) needs to take a look at this.

I do know him and have used him for a gasser engine build before. Mostly what he does is diesel, and he's good at it.

I bought an engine from Ed.
Yes it cost more, but for the money, it came out about even given that I was going to buy a new front cover, oil pump, pan, etc anyway and with this engine it's all installed and ready to go.
New valve cover gaskets, new ICP sensor, new CPS, etc.
