I'm new to all this short block, long block, enhanced long block stuff. Can you explain the difference between this engine and your OEM Engine? And with your engine what would I need to swap over from mine? I think a new engine may not be too far off for me.

here is a enhanced long block
a regular long block would not have valve covers, oil pan, front cover.
After reading the info on the ebay site, that sounds like one quality built engine. It's hard to believe that they can do all that machining, specing, blueprinting and balancing and use quality parts for only $3100. If it's as good as they say it is, that is one super deal! Dan (Kwikk) needs to take a look at this.
I checked out the ebay ad. Did I miss it or did they mention if the rods are forged or PMR?
"$3100 for the long block as listed on ebay. Add $2000 for the arp head studs, coated piston domes and skirts. Releive the piston fish and comp 910 valve springs"
Ok. I knew you were having problems and were gonna yank the engine, but I missed where you decided to just replace it, so I was wondering if something else transpired that I missed.

very reasonable.
I just read that too. Dang good deal. Looks like he may become a sponsor over there too. I think I'm going to start saving my pennies...............
