Down to the final straw....Did glow plugs...GPR..returned the week old GPR and got another one due to buzzing noise from the other one...Brand new batteries...It still wont start...or even try to start. Im aware that my ICP sensor is bad, and ive unplugged it. It fired up the other day and ran for a minute and idled rough and dropped out cylinders and died..then wouldnt start again. Its 25 degrees here..And all my other 7.3's started fine..What am i missing?
No i dont. This has been an on going issue with my 97 F350. No mods other than 6637 and superchip. First i had a problem with my EPBV shutting all the time. So i unpluged that. Then it would start on a cold morning and run for a second and idle rough then stall..So i replaced the GPR with a standard. That made a buzzing noise, so i returned that and bought a Napa GPR-109. Then it still did it. So i replaced all glow plugs and it threw a code something about glow plug banks...Then i was told my ICP sensor was bad..So i unplugged that and it still doest like to start..
Pretty embarrassing, but my 7.3's have never given me an issue..So i feel stupid asking this..Where is the LPOP and HPOP? How do i check them? I searched around and the LPOP symptoms sounds similar to my issue...Any pictures of the pumps? Thanks for the info
