What kind of glue will work fixing cracks and broken off clips on these things? Or is the plastic able to be welded at all? I've seen plastic welders before but never tried one. I got cracks and broken off parts all over the place in mine thanks to the kids slamming doors all the time. I think the next one to do it is going to walk. My doors work perfectly, no reason to slam anything at all.
A really good plastic welder is gonna cost several hundred dollars.
Living in the big city there are guys who travel to car dealerships and do nothing but fix cracks in molding / dashboards etc for under a hundred dollars ... they even blend the color to compensate for UV fading.
Last time I checked it was $50 for the first crack and $25 for each one 1-6 inches long.
The welder is gonna cost 200-400.
You can also go to a upholstery or furniture repair shop for vinyl.
if it isn't visible I just take my soldering iron and another piece of a panel (found at every wrecking yard) and weld it back together. use the iron and the filler just like welding with oxy/ace welder.
Its pricey for the gun and tips but panel bond is amazing! Its like JB weld but about 10 times better. I use it to fix all plastic breaks. Non visible ones that is.
Because of the the many cracks in my dash, I ordered a "Dash Mat" or a carpet dash cover. Should be in by the end of the week. Supposedly it is molded to the dash. If anyone's intersted, I can post a few pictures. Not a bad deal for less than $30 and it's from a reputable parts warehouse.

As asked in this tread, I'll try and post a couple of pictures of the "dash cover" that I ordered. The first one I ordered was incorrect. The company did not know about the 97 OBS 250. So, I sent it back, and received another one for a 96 F-250. There are several different styles, and this is the cheapest. I bought one for my wife's van that was $10 more, and is very nice.
I personally cannot stand dash mats.
Big dust collectors IMO.
Anyways.
The one main pad that cracks on our dash on the passenger side is replaceable, so just replace it.
As for the in the door stuff.
A varity of things work that I've tried.
The best one is zip ties and a drill, depending on what your doing.
Contact cement for some things. i've tried silicone caulk to glue stuff. Usually for the Jute Matt.
I tried hot glue one time, but that is a bad idea, cause it just gets hot and melts haha.
best bet is some spare plastic to melt as filler and a soldering iron you dont mind trashing.
You can use zip ties as filler sometimes as well and a small pocket torch.
