NEED INFORMATION
I have a 1978 F150 with a 300 cu in engine.I want to rebuild the engine and add horsepower/torque. Where do I find manifolds, camshafts, and articles on how to get more power? Is the 4bbl manifold and header worth the time effort?

NEED INFORMATION
Most auto parts stores should have access to getting performance parts for 300s. Jegs, Summit, and JC Whitney also have a couple parts in thier catalogs available for 240/300s. The 240 I have has a Holley 4 bbl, rv cam, offenhauser intake and Hedman dual headers, and has improved the power quite well, especially torque. I would think improvement of a 300s specs would be even better with simular improvements.

I have a 300 six in my 74 F250 you can get all the High perf parts for this engine from www.cliffordperformance.com I have done a complete rebuild of mine including bored out .060 with 9/1 forged pistons, 4barrel intake manifold, headers, ported and polished heads, stainless intake and exhaust valves, holley 465cfm carb, ect. runs very strong prefer it over small V8,s
