Replacing K&N Intake with Stock

Does anyone know where to buy the stock air intake assembly, besides the dealer? The Excursion I just bought has the K&N intake system which I do not want.

Good move.

Have you tried E-bay or local salvage yards?

Go to Diesel Filters Online to buy the filter. Best prices I have found.

Diesel Filters,Additives, brake rotors, and brake pads for Chevy, Dodge and Ford Diesel Trucks

If you do not want the K&N air intake, I'll take it off your hands.

PM me for the address.

It looks like I'm not able to use PM's yet. Are you looking to trade your stock assembly for my K&N?

No, I do not want to trade for my OEM.

In your OP you said you did not want the K&N. So I was going to take it off your hands if you were going to toss it. Guess you want to sell it.

Send me an email @ edspringer1@aol.com if you want to sell it with the asking price.

I've got the same K&N system on my 04 F350. I'll be keeping the K&N intake tube and heat shield, but replacing the filter with an AEM Dryflow filter #21-2259DK. I haven't purchased it yet (spent the weekend researching this and will pick up in the next couple days), but dimensions appear to be a good replacement for the K&N. There is possibly enough room to fit the Napa 6637 or similar. Just a thought...

I apologize for the confusion. I didn't start this thread to sell the unit, rather, I was trying to find a place to purchase the OEM part. Once I find the OEM part, I'll send you an email. Thanks

Do you have the link to that one? Maybe they'll ship it.

Did they make any changes for differing model years? Will any 6.0 assembly work?

Might try to swap it to some one on craigs list. Offer it for sale cheap in return for their stock air intake system
